AI Chief for
Engineering Compliance
Technology is transforming faster than ever

But it still looks like 1960s engineering in 2025 world

A
What's the problem?
Technology development runs on two tracks:
-
Hardware races forward. New designs, rapid prototypes, faster testing—advancing at lightning speed.
-
Compliance crawls behind. Systems engineering, safety and certification struggle under mountains of language—cert specs, requirements, hazard logs, safety controls, test objectives and endless review comments.
The root problem is linguistic, not technical. Every programme ends up stitching together hundreds of thousands of interdependent statements; break one thread and traceability, budgets, and schedules unravel.
While MBSE tools aim to solve traceability, the real challenge is demonstrability - proving that systems are safe and compliant. This is difficult because you can miss a critical requirement or, worse, trust one that sounds right but is fundamentally wrong. Both lead to costly rework, delays, or unsafe designs.
Humans can’t process that volume of specialised text and knowledge at the speed of modern development, and even the best teams struggle.
B
What are we building?
We are building AI Chief for Engineering Compliance—an intelligent assistant that delivers clarity, speed, and confidence to systems engineering, safety, and certification from day one.
Our AI is a knowledge augmentation tool that understands industry standards, regulations, hazards, safety risks, design processes, and provides context for every hardware design decision. It's like having a friendly, knowledgeable Chief Engineer—bringing both breadth and depth to every decision you make. And it doesn’t just answer questions—it helps you ask the right ones.
This means lean OEMs and startups can achieve world-class systems engineering, safety, and compliance without massive in-house teams—accelerating development while maintaining confidence in every decision.
C
Why does it matter?
From electric aircraft to sending crew and passengers to space, compliance in hardware design is non-negotiable. Companies that don’t embed compliance from day one risk building hardware that cannot be certified by regulators—turning innovation into costly mistakes.
Complexity is exploding. Today’s systems span thousands of interconnected requirements, safety standards, and regulatory mandates. Missing a single hazard, breaking traceability, or mismanaging compliance can lead to more than just costly rework. It can cause years of certification delays, failed programs, or, in the worst case, catastrophic failures and loss of life.
Industry giants protect themselves with extensive in-house ‘starter kits’—pre-defined hazards, requirements, and compliance templates that blunt the pain of complexity. But lean OEMs and venture-backed startups don’t have that luxury. They’re forced to navigate this rising complexity manually, risking errors, delays, and spiraling costs.
D
Who are we?
We’re a startup with an experienced team that has designed, built, and certified civil and military aircrafts—and we’ve also built real-world AI applications. From direct experience, we’ve seen how hardware development often moves faster than systems engineering, safety, and compliance can keep up—leading to costly rework, certification delays, and even programme failures. Now, we’re building the solution we always needed: an intelligent assistant that brings high-quality systems engineering to every program, from day one.
